With rapidly changing strategy and the need to measure quality to meet new and evolving global quality standards, tyre manufacturers need to be more conscious & well prepared for every Quality test. The EU has recently announced marking standards for Global Tyre manufacturers who supply to Europe.
Tinius Olsen has a wide range of products which can help tyre manufacturers maintain the quality of tyres and conform to the strict marking standards. There are various International standards followed by Tinius Olsen, you can see the list of standards in our Resource Area. Tinius Olsen offers:
- Machine – H5K & H10K Tension/Compression Machine.
- Grips – 137-004, 187-005, 187-006 roller grips, to hold the specimen while testing.
- Extensometers – Accurate Measurement of Strain.
- 100R – Contact type model 100R with 10 microns resolution up to 1000mm travel & multiple gauge length capability 10 to 100mm.
- 500L – Non contacting type model 500L with 12 microns resolution, multiple gauge length 10mm up to 500mm, scan speed of 320 times per second.
- Video Extensometer – Non contacting type, for those who in addition to strain data & results, also require a video capture for post-test analysis.
- Environmental Chambers – Optional Temperature chambers in support of testing rubber at elevated & cold temperatures.
