Dear Team

We are one of user Hounsfiel Tearing Machine, and want to use for ASTM D 5587 : Tearing trapezoid,
We have set the tearing length for 2.593 inches, however, the machine can only break until 6mm (0.25in)

What is the solution?
Kindly need your help to solve our problem

The test you are running appears to be a tear test on textiles. My colleague, Sylvia who is an expert on textile testing should be able to help you. Please may I ask you to submit the question to our "Ask The Expert -Textiles"
